About Seasonal Sites at Harvest Farm
We get asked about them all the time.
And honestly, we get it.
There’s something pretty sweet about having your camper already here, your chairs around the fire pit, and your weekends figured out. You don't have to load up the camper every Friday, find a place to go, set everything up, and then tear it back down Sunday.
You just come out.
Pour a cup of coffee. Sit outside. Let the kids play. Visit your neighbors. play a game of volleyball, take a walk or drive your golf cart down to the river. Maybe even spend the day on the river and hunt for fossils.
Or, just sit at your campsite and enjoy the view. We see a lot of that here!
That's the part of seasonal camping we think people sometimes miss. It's not just about having a campsite. It's having a place to get away to… any time, all the time.
And now, we're excited to be expanding the campground with additional seasonal sites for 2027.
We've had a waiting list for our seasonal sites for quite a while, so we're super jazzed about being able to offer more campers the opportunity to camp with us.
As seasonal campers you don't have to pack everything every time you want to go camping. Your camper is here, your outdoor furniture is here, your fire pit is here—and when you arrive, you're already home.
Our seasonal campers also enjoy having a little more space to settle in and make their site their own. Some spend the whole season here, others— spend most of their weekends, and a few— just come whenever they can get away. There's really no right or wrong way to do it.
And then there's the setting.
We are so blessed to have the Upper Iowa River right here, It's beautiful in every season, and there's always something to do—or nothing to do, which can be just as good. And while we love having the river so close, we love even more that our campers don't have to worry about their campers flooding. We're up on the bluffs, safely above the river.
